Custom Order & Payment Policy

To secure your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required for all custom orders. Your order will be confirmed once the retainer has been received.

Invoices or payment requests not paid within 72 hours will be automatically canceled.

The final payment is due no later than 7 days before your event date.

If payment is not received by the deadline, your order may be canceled.

Late payments may result in design modifications or substitutions based on available materials.

Cancellations

Cancellations made within 14 days of your event date are non-refundable, except in the event of:

Death in the immediate family

Military deployment

Immediate family includes your spouse, children, parents, and siblings.

Rush Orders

For custom orders placed less than 14 days before the event date, a rush fee of $25 or 25% of the total order amount (whichever is greater) will apply. Rush orders are accepted at the discretion of Jae Sweets LLC and require full payment within 24 hours of receiving your proposal.

Cake Care

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Jae Sweets is not responsible for any damage resulting from improper handling, transportation, or storage.

Please note:

Avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 75°F, which can cause melting or structural damage.

Handle your desserts with care and follow all provided care instructions.

Pre-Orders & Daily Specials

Full payment is due at checkout for all pre-orders and daily specials.

These payments are non-refundable. Please make every effort to adhere to your scheduled pickup time as outlined in the promotion or order details.

Allergens

All products are made in a licensed home-based kitchen that handles common allergens including eggs, peanuts, wheat, dairy, tree nuts, and soy. Because equipment is shared, 100% allergen-free products cannot be guaranteed. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform their guests of potential allergy risks.

Design Guarantee

Jae Sweets does not replicate other bakers’ work. We welcome inspiration photos and will use them as creative guidelines for your design. Final products may vary slightly due to artistic interpretation, structural needs, or ingredient availability—while maintaining the integrity of your overall vision.

Portfolio Rights

Jae Sweets retains the nonexclusive, perpetual right to display, reproduce, and share designs created by Jae Sweets for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes use on our website, social media, print materials, trade publications, or exhibits. Jae Sweets maintains copyright ownership and authorship of all designs.

Pickups & Deliveries

Pickups are located in the New Castle, Delaware area. The exact address and pickup details will be provided upon order confirmation. Please arrive on time for your scheduled pickup to ensure product freshness and quality.

Delivery is available for an additional fee, based on distance and order size. Delivery arrangements must be confirmed at least 7 days before the event date.

Missed Pickups

Orders not picked up within the agreed timeframe may be considered forfeited without a refund. Because our products are perishable and made to order, Jae Sweets is not responsible for the condition or quality of items that are not picked up on time. If you anticipate a delay, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential accommodations.
